Several ladies asked for cards for men, so that is what this month’s class is all about.
The class is full, but if you like them, let me know and I can schedule another.
In these first two I have created my own striped background with strips, then used the thin cuts. Simple, not too fussy, just just right for a bloke.
The photo doesn’t do it justice. This is a shimmery, celebration card.
The background is a gorgeous gold/copper foil stripe from the Rustic Home paper pack.
I have stamped with Desert Sand – which works really well with the gold.
The stamp set – Birthday Sparkles – fabulous!
Here’s my final card, using slate, the Ink Blot stamp set, more paper from Rustic Home, and a little bit of Slate twine. The Ink Blot is loved by everyone who uses it! Great for mud, paint splatters…any kind of mess. That reminds me of when my boys were small (and maybe when they were not so small!)
Simple, unfussy, good for a bloke!
So, do you think I met the brief?
I love these. What paper did you use on them?
The blue and grey striped ones are made with cardstock strips stuck together. The gold one uses rustic home fundamentals.
